Transplanting: To slab or NFT when plants are 2”.
PLANT SPACING : 3-6 inch centers.

Summer: 4-5 weeks. Winter: 5-7 weeks.
Number of harvests: Multiple, as long as it is growing vigorously.

Yield: Summer: 4 lbs per 10 ft. NFT trough. Winter: 1 lbs per 15 ft. NFT trough.

Light: Enjoys full sun, growth is very slow below 10.5-11 hours day length.
SUPPLEMENTAL LIGHTING: Not necessary, but 700 ft. candles, 14 hours/day ensures good winter growth.

Sensitive to: Fungal infections: Somewhat sensitive to many infections, but it is usually able to survive infection.
Insects: Mites & whitefly.

Notes: Sage is easy to grow and grows well in hydroponics. Sage will overcome disease but it hurts the plant and hurts the yield. Growth will be slow and the plants difficult to care for during short days.
