Light: Full sun, grows poorly in low light and generally succumbs to fungus.
SUPPLEMENTAL LIGHTING: 700 ft. candles at bench; 14 hors/day during short day months will help, but loss to infection will occur.

Sensitive to: Fungal infections: Extremely sensitive to a variety of fungi.
Insects: White fly (leaf miner).
Notes: Care must be taken to control fungus infection in marjoram. Humidity must be kept low, especially during the short day months to grow year round; supplemental light is necessary if days are shorter than 10.5-11 hours. Do not harvest more than half the leaf area at any one time.
