What is the GroShow Podcast all about, you ask?  

Our goal is to educate and inspire cannabis cultivators using Grodan (and those who aren’t) with an entertaining show focused on growing solutions, best practices, and common misconceptions. With the help of various internal and external guest speakers, we aim to give our listeners the tools they need to grow more with less, from seed through harvest.

Episode 1: Technical Crop Advice with Chad Rigby

In the first episode of the Grodan GroShow, co-host Dave and Riley sit down with guest Chad Rigby, Technical Crop Advisor at Grodan, to discuss best practices and common misconceptions when growing cannabis in Grodan stone wool. From choosing the ideal gro-block for your facility to the importance of keeping an irrigation schedule, this episode covers it all. Plus, Chad shares his thoughts on current industry trends he likes (and doesn’t) and what it was like to speak to the students of the Commerical Cannabis Production program at Niagara College and visit their legendary 'Cannabunker.' 

Episode 2: Precision Growing with Jonathan Stemeroff of Innovative Growers Equipment & Grodan's Chad Rigby

Dave and Riley are joined by special guest Jonathan Stemeroff, Senior Irrigation Systems Designer at Innovative Growers Equipment and Chad Rigby, Technical Crop Advisor at Grodan, in episode two. From best practices to common misconceptions, Jonathan and Chad utilize their years of experience and green knowledge to educate and inspire cannabis growers, new and old. Also, Jonathan discusses his thesis, Irrigation Management Strategies for Medical Cannabis in Controlled Environments and what it felt like to be the first person to attain a graduate-level degree in cannabis production in North America.  

Episode 3: Chad McCoy of The Real McCoy

In episode three, Dave and Riley are joined by Chad McCoy (a.k.a. Cheddar), owner/cultivator of The Real McCoy, located in Carson City, Nevada. The Real McCoy is family owned and operated, with over 25 years of growing experience. During the show, we learn about how The Real McCoy came to be, what went into building his remarkable facility, and the challenges facing cultivators during this current climate. We also learn about Chad's process and physiology as a grower, cultivation techniques, trends he's a fan of, why he grows in Grodan exclusively, and what excites him about the industry's future.
